Creating a Crafted Entity

Choose the Size and Durability of your creations as normal according to the Crafting rules.

The Complexity of your creation can be no less than 6.

Crafted Beings start life with the following stats:

• All Attributes equal 1
• All Skills equal 0
• Crafted beings do not start life with a Virtue
• Crafted beings do not start life with any merits

The craftsman then distributes the XP the Crafted Entity possesses into any trait they desire. Mortals distribute points as if their Crafted Entity had no Associated Traits. Craftsmen with a Legend Score (i.e. Scions & Gods) may distribute the Crafted Entity’s XP as if the Crafted Entity possessed the Associated Traits of their creator.

Crafted Entities as Scions

1. Select a Race

Your race is “Crafted.” You count as a crafted object with Complexity 8 (400 XP). You may choose your Size and Durability, but remember that repairing large frames with component parts may become difficult.

2. Select a God

Choose a God and record your Associated Traits.

3. Choose a Purpose

Decide what the reason was for your creation. Decide if you were created with an objective, goal or purpose.

4. Spend Your XP

Crafted Beings start life with the following stats:

• All Attributes equal 1
• All Skills equal 0
• Crafted beings do not start life with a Virtue
• Crafted beings do not start life with any merits

You may distribute your 400 XP in any way that you feel your creator would have desired to. You may incorporate Relics into your design in for the price of a Birthright. Example Relic abilities are located on the Crafting page.

5. Determine Advantages

Physical Defense (the lowest of Dexterity or Wits)
Mental Defense (the lowest of Resolve or Composure)
Maximum Health (for Crafted Entities, this is known as Structure) (Durability + Size)
Initiative (Dexterity + Composure)
Speed (Strength + Dexterity +5) x 5 feet
Maximum Willpower (Resolve + Composure)
Your Crafted Entity knows a number of languages equal to their Intelligence score.

6. Select Equipment

Select Weapons, Armor, and Tools that are logical for your Crafted Entity to possess. Each piece of equipment selected should cost no more than 1 + your current Wealth Merit score.

7. Legend

Crafted Entities posses 1 point of Legend even before their possible Apotheosis

8. Add Scion Template and additional XP

If the Crafted Entity is a replacement character and has previous history in the world it may already be a scion, if so add the applicable template.

Scions with previous XP should consult the chart below for their bonus XP:
